The pilot project successfully launching
Regional Smart Cities Initiatives
Smart Cincy represents the first Regional Smart Cities Initiative. Leaders in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana have been collaborating to deploy a standards-driven, interoperable and sustainable model for smart city and regional growth. The Smart Cincy working group represents regional leaders from government, academia, industry, and community organizations with shared goals and smart city visions.
Cincinnati City Leaders and regional industry and academic experts have aligned around smart city efforts with the release of the city's first "smart city" RFQ perfectly titled, Smart Cincy. University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University, Xavier University, and other partners have all been supporting the efforts of Venture Smarter and other community partners in leading the charge.
