Join leadership from the nation’s top Metropolitan Planning Organizations, transportation agencies, and research institutions dedicated to building smart cities and regions to discuss smart mobility, project prioritizations and financing, and a planning framework for interdisciplinary collaborations.

A keynote speaker and open leadership forum will explore the opportunities and challenges of planning smart cities through a regional lens.  Attendees will continue the discussion at a happy hour reception immediately following the event.

Smart Regions put people first.

Efforts enabled by technology are rooted in interoperable standards.  Government attendees will be invited to participate in the IEEE-SA: P2784 Working Group, creating "The Guide to the Technology and Planning Process to Build A Smart City."
